AZBio Recognizes LifeSpan Digital Health for Breakthroughs in Clinician Wellness

PHOENIX, AZ — September 10, 2025 — LifeSpan Digital Health has been awarded the Fast Lane Award by the Arizona Bioindustry Association, recognizing its rapid growth and impact in addressing clinician burnout at the system level.

Founded out of the University of Arizona and built on over 20 years of research led by Dr. Sam Keim, emPower+ is an evidence-based platform designed to prevent burnout by combining predictive data, behavioral signals, and institutional insight. It goes beyond wellness apps by offering real-time feedback loops between clinicians and leadership—empowering healthcare systems to act before burnout becomes attrition.

LifeSpan’s selection for the Fast Lane Award underscores its strong momentum: the startup has established partnerships with institutions like Northwestern, New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist, and Atrium Health, with positive recurring revenue projected by 2026.

“This award is a recognition of how fast we’re moving—but more importantly, why we’re moving: to protect the people who keep healthcare running,” said Jeff Cary, CEO of LifeSpan Digital Health.
