2025 Governor’s Celebration of Innovation Recognizes Arizona’s Leading Innovators

PHOENIX, AZ — November 13, 2025 — The Arizona Technology Council and Arizona Commerce Authority hosted the annual Governor’s Celebration of Innovation (GCOI), recognizing top contributors to Arizona’s technology and innovation landscape. The Nov. 12 gala at Chateau Luxe in Phoenix spotlighted outstanding achievements in science, technology, education, and leadership.

This year’s honorees included startups, large enterprises, and academic innovators.
Notable winners include:
• Innovator of the Year – Startup: JACE Sciences/RokPaper Packaging
• Innovator of the Year – Large Company: Aligned Data Centers
• MSS Business Transformation Leader of the Year: Jeff Benck, CEO of Benchmark
• Lifetime Achievement Award: James Currier, President & CEO of Honeywell Aerospace Technologies

The awards also recognized emerging STEM talent and legislative leaders supporting tech-driven growth across Arizona.
